Antique heavy 9ct gold Watch chain necklace, 1906

Antique heavy 9ct gold Watch chain necklace, 1906

This very heavy graduated curb link watch chain is of exceptional quality and makes a substantial necklace or a fabulous double watch chain. Worn on a waistcoat, this chain will hang with the widest part of the chain in the middle of each swag. As a necklace, the graduation gives interest and elegance. Add charms, lockets or other pendents to this piece to personalise it.
Unusually this chain bears a date letter, Birmingham 1906. All attachments are hallmarked 9 .375 and the makers mark B&S, meaning they are all original. The chain shows practically no wear.
NB. One of the photo‘s compares the colour of the watch chain to a yellow high carat chain for reference purposes.
