Antique Victorian Coral Acorn Earrings, circa 1880

These lovely carved coral acorn earrings have been made from a Victorian Coral necklace which was broken. The carving is very fine and most probably Italian. Each earring has a small Victorian coral ball above the acorn which the ear wire passes through. These ear wires have been hand made by our Goldsmith using traditional methods and shaped by hand. The acorn is a sought after symbol in jewellery, symbolising fertility, immortality and Potential.
