15ct Gold Locket, 1907
This beautiful, engraved Edwardian locket has been produced with great skill and care. It is made of 15ct gold. 15ct gold was made from about 1850 to 1930 so it is relatively more unusual than the other carats. The locket is made of heavy gold sheet making it durable. The hinge is in good order. Internally the Perspex windows are held in place by rims which can easily be removed with a slim blade to insert you favourite photos, pressed flowers, words of strength or wisdom etc.
