Vintage Amethyst ring, 18ct yellow gold.

A fabulous large amethyst cocktail ring made of in 18ct yellow gold with textured feature shoulders. It dates from the 1970’s. The amethyst has a rich purple colour that contrasts beautifully with the yellow gold. The stone is securely set with four corner claws. The shank is concave in profile and it’s clear this ring has been designed and made by a Master.
