Antique silver locket with daisy flower 1885
The raised central flower design of this antique silver locket is surrounded by rings of stars and balls creating a wonderful impact. The reverse of the locket also has a raised centre which is surrounded by rings of a chain design and an outer ring of stars, and this is a special feature as quite often the reverse of lockets is plain. The locket is hallmarked Birmingham 1885. Inside there are two silver rims holding the (replacement) perspex windows and silk liners in place. The flower is possibly a daisy and in Victorian symbolism has been given the meanings of innocence and beauty, amongst others.

US BUYERS: For items under $800 the US Tarriff on goods entering the US, and associated fees, have been calculated in the ‘delivery cost’ (US only) and will be collected at checkout and prepaid so you have nothing to pay on delivery.
For items over $800 the items are sent with FedEx and we make a small charge towards this cost. In this case, Customs duties, tariffs and taxes will need to be paid by the buyer prior to delivery. This is a simple procedure. Please supply your telephone number via Etsy messages which is required by FedEx.
In all cases any tariffs, Custom duties etc paid by ourselves on your behalf will be deducted from any refund and you will need to reclaim them from US Customs.

NB: Buyers from the rest of the world are unaffected by the US tarriffs and will not see ‘delivery costs’ at checkout and the US tariffs are not added into their price.

SHIPPING
All orders are shipped using Royal Mail Special delivery, Royal Mail International tracked and /or signed for. Items are securely padded in transit, with full tracking and insurance for your peace of mind.
We are not responsible for delivery delays and will not issue refunds for lost items UNTIL they have been declared lost by Royal Mail.
DAMAGED ITEMS
We carefully pack your item in a strong box in a padded envelope. Please open and inspect your item as soon as possible after receipt. If your item arrives damaged you must inform us within 24 hours of receipt. Please photograph and keep the damaged packaging as this will assist us in claiming from the carrier.
RETURNS
You can return your UNWORN/UNUSED item for a full refund for any reason by firstly getting in touch to let us know you wish to return the item. This must be within 14 days of RECEIVING it and then you must return it within 28 days of RECEIVING it. This excludes Bespoke or Personal Items.
NB: YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR RETURN SHIPPING COSTS.
