Antique silver dip ink pen S Mordan & Co
This is a rare example of an antique dip pen made by the renowned manufacturer S Mordan & Co. It features a steel body wrapped in a heavy silver ridged sleeve and a similarly constructed, but unpatterned, nib end. The two pieces fit together to form a compact case for travel and then, in reverse, as an ink pen. The ridged body is marked with makers name but as the piece is made of mixed metals it is not hallmarked. We have however acid tested the silver for confirmation. The nib is steel and features a heart at the top of the ink channel, a nice attention to detail. The nib is detachable.
This lovely dip ink pen will be sought after by collectors and will also make an unusual gift for birthdays, Christmas and anniversaries.

DAMAGED ITEMS
We carefully pack your item in a strong box in a padded envelope. Please open and inspect your item as soon as possible after receipt. If your item arrives damaged you must inform us within 24 hours of receipt. Please photograph and keep the damaged packaging as this will assist us in claiming from the carrier.

RETURNS: You can return your UNWORN/UNUSED item for a full refund for any reason by firstly getting in touch to let us know you wish to return the item. This must be within 14 days of RECEIVING it and then you must return it within 28 days of RECEIVING it. This excludes Bespoke or Personal Items.
