Antique Sapphire and Diamond 18ct Gold Ring, circa 1913

A stunning and high quality antique sapphire ring. The central natural blue sapphire is oval and the end stones are round. The small old cut diamonds set in between them are white and of very good clarity. The stones are all claw set and all claws are present. The ring sits low and snuggles the finger in a very pleasing way. This type of setting is sometimes described as a boat setting and is particularly well executed in this ring. In my experience, items hallmarked in Chester are quite often of slightly better quality or design from those assayed elsewhere. This ring can be sized and we may be able to do this for you so please enquire.
The antique box is not included.
